What to Expect

Your day includes a ticket for the official Denali Park Bus, operated by the National Park Service. Our guide will drop you off and help you get situated, but they do not ride the park bus with you. This scenic ride gives you the best chance to spot wildlife and take in epic views of Denali.

Duration: 4 Hours

Visit the Denali Visitor Center to learn about the park’s wildlife, landscapes, and local history, including the culture of the Athabaskan people. Don’t forget to grab a National Park Passport stamp while you’re there, and if time allows, you might even catch a sled dog demo!

Enjoy Free Time in Glitter Gulch

Take a walk through Denali’s boardwalk district, known as “Glitter Gulch,” a lively stretch of shops, cafés, and local businesses. It’s the perfect spot to grab a snack, pick up a souvenir, or just soak in the mountain town vibe.

Wrap up the day with a stop at the “Magic Bus” replica, made famous by the movie Into the Wild. It’s a great photo op and a chance to learn the real story behind the film. You’ll also have time to relax at the nearby brewery, enjoy a local beer, or grab dinner before we return to your lodging for the night.

  • This tour runs daily from May through mid-September, which is Denali’s main summer season. Availability is limited—especially in peak months—so we recommend booking early to secure your spot.

  • Yes. Tours often sell out 30+ days in advance; we handle your bus ticket—but book early to lock in your date.

  • Our tours run rain or shine, and weather can change quickly in Denali. While we can’t guarantee views of the mountain, the park and surrounding area are still incredible to experience in all conditions. If the weather creates a safety issue or the park closes access, we’ll reach out with alternative options or a full refund.

    • Food and drinks at 49th State Brewery are not included in the ticket price

  • All sales are final and incur 100% cancellation penalties.

    This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

  • Yes, service animals are welcome on this tour. However, please note that they may not be permitted on the Denali Park Transit Bus, as park policies apply. We recommend reaching out ahead of time so we can help coordinate any accommodations.
